A beloved Weed Man franchise group based in Lexington, Kentucky – helmed by father Stephen Hillenmeyer and sons Seth and Chase Hillenmeyer – has recently expanded to a fourth location in Memphis, Tennessee. What began as a four-truck operation in Lexington in the early 2000s, with a foundation of six generations (and hundreds of years) of family experience in the green industry, has grown to a thriving four-site lawn care business that services homeowners in Lexington, Cincinnati, Nashville, and now Memphis. “We have an awesome team of young leaders who are hungry and growing,” says Chase Hillenmeyer. “What gets us up out of bed every day is partnering with them and seeing people grow and reach their goals, professionally and personally… That’s what fuels us. That’s what excites us. Developing new leaders and showing them the path that’s possible.” This expansion has already created significant career opportunities for members of the Hillenmeyers’ team, as leaders from their existing operations have been promoted to manage the Memphis location, and new leaders continue to rise in Lexington, Nashville, and Cincinnati. “It’s an amazing place to work,” says executive assistant Janette Barrington. “The culture is amazing.
